ABOUT
Art is in our blood. My wife and I both have dads who were visual and performing artists. When I was a child, I would sit in my room and draw Snoopy characters, which I had on the curtains. That passion for drawing, at an early age, later turned into an obsession. I attended Duke Ellington School of the Arts, in Washington DC, and later received a degree focusing on Fine Arts in Long Beach, CA. My wife also shares a passion for the visual arts and has partnered with me in developing Face Off Face Painting.
I have several paintings on permanent display, in various homes, schools, and municipal facilities over the country, and currently an active member of the Wilson Active Artist Association. After over 20 years as an artist/sculpture, my favorite choice of media has become the face. There is nothing more exhilarating than sharing our art on the faces of little people and adults, hopefully inspiring them to pursue their own special talents and creativity . Face and body painting not only allows us to evolve as artists, but rewards us, as we watch our clients discover the transformative power of a new look that they have picked out for themselves.
